Reference on Southern/Hospitality/Flight Attendants?

The best book on so-called Southern hospitality is
Killers of the Dream by Lillian Smith. This is an
incredible book about society, politics and the making
of U.S. Southern "culture." Not linguistically
oriented or connected with flight attendants but
definitely worth reading on the Southern hospitality
part.
