question about qualitative software pkgs

I'm writing a dissertation on language and gender in which I have to
analyze 4 types of text that have linked audio and video elements, for
both quantitative and qualitative measures. Because of the large size of
my corpora, I am looking for software that I can use to code tokens of
the research variable for multiple values, which will then be manageable
over thousands of examples. I wondered if anyone has used atlas.ti or
hyperResearch, or some other package capable of linking transcript files
to audio and video clips and what your experience has been. Upsides?
Limitations?
