Dear IGALA members,

Given that the nomination process for IGALA Executive members has resulted in very few
nominees, the Executive Committee has decided to re-open nominations. Members of the
Executive Committee thought/hoped that the recent IGALA conference in Valencia would generate
increased interest in the organization and thus more nominations. Therefore, nominations are
now sought for the following positions:

1. Vice President/President-Elect
2. Secretary
3. Webweaver (This is a new position agreed upon at the Executive Committee meeting in
Valencia.)

Job descriptions are included below. These job descriptions were also agreed upon at the
Executive Committee meeting in Valencia.

Self and other-nominations are encouraged. I will be responsible for contacting all nominees to
determine whether they are willing to stand. Please address all responses to me
(sehrlich at yorku.ca) rather to the entire list. The nomination period will close on Friday, January
5th 2007.

Best, Susan Ehrlich, Secretary, IGALA
