hi all,

apologies for sending this request to the list - i've already sent
one to the list-owners but there was no response so....

i actually missed the first of the posts on this topic, and i fear a
few of the other posts to the list as well.

this is because, for reasons i won't go into just here, i manually
delete unwanted mail and spam from the server before it reaches my
computer. this means that unless i recognise the sender, it gets
deleted along with the other 50+ a day unwanted emails that come in.

so, i'm wondering whether the list-owners can identify posts to the
list with a subject line heading enclosed in square brackets, e.g.
[GALA-L], as so many other lists these days do - either via
auto-configure, or by allowing subscribers to configure for
themselves? i took a look at the gala-l web page for subscribers
earlier, but could not find any toggle for this... can anyone point
me in the right direction if we subscribers can turn this on for
ourselves?
