sex and gender constructions in academic textbooks

In my MA dissertation I firstly outline a critical history of gendered bodies and their constructions in and through biology  and medicine, taking into account their relevant social context. Following on from that, I plan to subject textbooks for students of medicine and biology to a "little" feminist critical discourse analysis to also show on a "micro level" if and how particular concepts and images are tenaciously reproduced in science. There is enough literature concerning the first, theoretical part, but I have to date not found anything on the critical discourse analysis of biological constructions/representations of sex and gender in academic textbooks.   

In meiner Diplomarbeit möchte ich erstens die Geschichte von GeschlechtsKörpern und deren Konstruktion(en) in und durch Biologie und Medizin wissenschaftskritisch und somit auch unter Berücksichtigung ihres jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen Kontextes aufrollen; zweitens habe ich mir vorgenommen, Lehrbücher für Studierende der Medizin und Biologie exemplarisch einer "kleinen" (Feministischen) Kritischen Diskursanalyse zu unterziehen, um auch auf einer "Mikroebene" zu zeigen, ob/wie sich gewisse Konzepte und Bilder nach wie vor hartnäckig in der Wissenschaft halten und somit immer wieder reproduziert werden. Für den ersten, theoretischen Teil gibt es ausreichend Literatur, jedoch die Kritische Diskursanalyse von Lehrbüchern (nicht Schulbüchern) mit Fokus auf biologische Konstruktionen/Repräsentationen von sex und gender betreffend wurde ich bisher nicht fündig und kann somit keinen Wissensstand ausmachen.
