Please help by signing these petitions at the 
above two links to try to stop the wonderful 
adult education venue of Urchfont Manor being sold by Wiltshire Council.

It has been used by the OU in the SW as a 
residential study base for their revision 
schools, with very high standards of teaching and 
training for many years.  Many craft and art 
tutors and students also use it as a venue, too, 
for lace making, patchwork, quilting, woodwork, 
beekeeping, plus many many other subjects of 
historical and cultural interests.  People from 
all over the UK, and sometimes from abroad attend 
these courses, so the shock waves of its closing 
will not just be local to Wiltshire.
