IMPORTANT - Message & reply etiquette

Dear GALA-L listserv subscribers,

Please remember that replying to a message that is sent to GALA-L sends your reply to all subscribers, not just the person who posted the original message. Take the time to look for an individual’s email in the message or a website that you can go to for further information, but please DO NOT reply to the list with individual concerns.

Each time there is one of these reply mistakes, I receive requests to remove subscribers from this list, so it hurts the whole organization.

Also, please remember to take the time when you are writing a message to gently remind recipients not to reply to the list, and (if possible) give them an email or website they can use if they would like further information.
