IGALA 8 Graduate Student Workshop

Dear colleagues and fellow graduates
As you may be aware, we will be organising a workshop for graduate students which will take place at the IGALA 8 conference in Vancouver. This is intended to be a forum where graduate students can come together and discuss issues and share ideas which are important and relevant to the graduate community.

This message is by way of a 'call for ideas' for this workshop; I would like to hear from as many of you as possible with your thoughts and suggestions for the things you would like the opportunity to discuss. We have 90 minutes allocated for the workshop, and the opportunity to set the agenda as a community of graduate students. I think this could be a really exciting focus for the conference, so please let me have your ideas!

I would like to be in a position to have the structure and some concrete themes in place by end March so that I can liaise with the conference organisers and put in place whatever arrangements are needed regarding guest speakers etc.
