The Linguistics Department at Queen Mary University of London is pleased to invite you to register for the 2017 Jenny Cheshire Lecture, to be held on the QMUL Main Campus in Mile End, London.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Deborah Cameron, Professor of Language and Communication at Oxford University, who will be giving a talk entitled: Language and the problem of women's authority.
