IGALA BOARD ELECTIONS - CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!​

Please consider nominating someone for the upcoming election to the IGALA Board. The following positions are open:

  *   Vice President/President-elect
  *   Secretary
  *   Communications Officer
  *   Graduate Student Representative
  *   Ordinary Member(s)

Self nominations are accepted. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the IGALA Secretary Kristine Køhler Mortensen (kristine.kohler.mortensen at gu.se<mailto:kristine.kohler.mortensen at gu.se>).

Voting will take place from August 1 – September 10 2021. Candidates will be asked to write a statement, which will be posted on the IGALA website during the voting period.​ The new serving period will begin October 1, 2021.

Please consider taking the time to nominate yourself or someone you know. Candidates must be current IGALA members in good standing. To check on your own membership status, please check the 'Join IGALA' page on the website: http://igalaweb.wixsite.com/igala/join-igala

Overview of the ​timeline for elections:
June 25 – Call for nominations
July 25 – Deadline for nominations
August 1 – Announcement of nominees and beginning of voting
September 10 – Deadline for voting
End of September – Announcement of the new IGALA Board
