Subject: [IGALA] RaAM 2025 Call for papers

Hi,
I'm Caroline Ferrari, Researching and Applying Metaphor Association 
(RaAM)'s Communications Officer. I'd like to submit a conference call 
for papers for your mailing list. This is the call:

We are excited to announce that the call for papers for RaAM 2025 is now 
open!

The conference will take place 7th-10th August 2025, preceded by a day 
of pre-conference workshops on 6th August 2025 at Lawrence Technological 
University near Detroit.

The theme of the conference is Metaphor, Technology, and Communication, 
though in keeping with the open spirit of RaAM, papers on all subjects 
related to metaphor will be welcomed.

We look forward to some fantastic keynote lectures by Dr Vicky Lai 
(University of Arizona), Dr Lettie Dorst (Leiden University) and Prof. 
Bodo Winter (University of Birmingham).

We also have two exciting pre-conference workshops lined up for you:

Introduction to Text Mining  - Paula Lauren, Associate Professor of 
Computer Science, Lawrence Technological University
Statistics with R - Bodo Winter, Professor of Linguistics, University of 
Birmingham
