Icelandic manages extremely well without having to steal from other 
languages.  "Flugvel"  means "flying machine" (airplane) and "sjonvarp" means 
"sight-transmit" (TV).  "Simi" means "wire" (telephone), and biology is 
"liffræði" which means "life study".  Now, that wouldn't be hard to do in 
Gothic, would it???????????
