In terms of German History, there is one on mailbase and on H-Net.  the one
on H-Net is heavily moderated.

I have also created last week one on eGroups called EuropeanArchaeology.
See www.egroups.com/group/EuropeanArchaeology .  I have not advertised this
list yet, but if you folks want to join and to start discussing  the
ethnogenesis of the Germanic peoples I would be very happy.  It would also
get me moving more to send out ads for members.

Please don't let the words ' no Neo-Nazi posts' deter you from joining and
discussing the archaeology and early history of the Early Germanic peoples.
This was included since as of late on some other groups I am subscribed to,
there is some very nasty messages advocating white supremacy and the
philosophy of the KKK and others.
