I just read the article in the adress posted by dirk; it was very
informative, but I hope someday I could see at least on pictures
those excavational ruins.
I've searched the internet for the ostrogothic buildings you post, I
found them all and they're all very beautiful. The stile seems
somewhat alike to the visigothic one, like in the arian Basilica of
santa Lucía.
I see that there are more "majestic" and important preserved
ostrogothic buildings than visigothic ones; as you know most of the
visigothic buildings preserved were of little importance and
magnitude... hmh... I guess lombards did less damage to those
beautiful buildings than arabs and moors in general...
Also, do you have any knowledge of swebic surviving ruins or
structures?
