Quite interesting with the Theutes in
Oestergoetland. Never seen that before.
Usually the Theutes are placed southeast
of Helsingborg on the Tjute River.

Does Nerman provide any further material?
Have also seen the Theu(s)tes placed in Tjust
on the east coast with the following peoples
in a northward line.

In this interpretation the people names of Jordanes
are placed in northern, eastern and western groups.
Theu(s)tes are in the eastern group with the Vagoth
(the Goetar of the vik = Braaviken), bergio =people
of the mountain Kolmaarden, Hallin = "peole on the
slope. that is toward Nykoeping) and then the Liothida,
which would be the people of Soedermanland.

Personally I lean toward the interpretation 

Theutes = the people on the Tjute River in northwestern
Scania
Vagoth = on the Skaelderviken Bay in northwestern Scania
Bergio = people of the Bjaere Peninsula
Hallin = the people of southern Halland Province
(note the cliff formation Hovs Hallar nearby)
Liothida = the people of Luggude Haerad around
Helsingborg and northwestern Scania.

Etc.

The eastern shores of the lake Vättern on my map is Östergötland. However
it has a very short coast line with islands and the dangerous Kolmården
goes all the way down to Bråviken. On the coast lived according to Birger
Nerman the "theustes".
