Hi Tore,

you may want to read the archaeological report about the Goths (by
V. Bierbrauer) and the historical report about the Goths (by W. Pohl)
in the Reallexikon der Germanischen Altertumskunde.

Both state in no uncertain terms that the Goths did not come from
Scandinavia.
