I did not understand the question. Do you mean the how old is the
treasure of Pietroasa, how old is the village named Pietroasa or how
old is the name "Pietroasa"?
The trasure of Pietroasa is attributed by most specialists to the
Visigoth Athanaric, thus 4th century. But some assign it to the
Ostrogoths of the 5th century.
The village of Pietroasa I have no idea how old it is, but I suppose
that it dates from the Middle Ages, but not earlier than, let's say,
10th century, like the majority of the localities of today's Romania.
The name "Pietroasa" is Romanian and looks to be recent. It means
"stony" (Lat. petrosa), being derived from piatra (Lat. petra)
"stone". The name comes from a stone quarry that was exploited once in
the neighborhood.
