I've heard of Gothic art in churches, even the Mosque of Cordoba,
one of the most beautiful mosques of muslim world is plagued with
Gothic columns (Gothic means here built by people living in the
500-700 a.d. period). About castles, i can't give an assertive
answer. I have photographs of Carmona Alcazar of Seville, where
an important Goth garrison should have been settled (I haven't
upload it yet ), but that castle dates back to Romans and even
Carthaghinians. I picture castle making this way. Romans built
big walls and fortress in the main cities. And in Reconquista
times, lots and lots of castles were built (on both sides).

In my site (http://spain.50g.com) I have photos of Alcala de Guadaira
castle, it's an arab castle, but the place is so good that it wouldn't
be surprising that Goths were there, besides it's very near of Guadaira
river, which fluents to Guadalquivir,... so it's an interesting
place...

I guess there's very few 100 % pure gothic castles.
