In this acception it is improper to call the Sarmato-Goths 
"Mulattoes", having in view that they were of similar physical type 
(according to the antic sources, the Sarmatians, like their relatives 
Scythians and Alans, were mostly tall, fair-haired and blue-eyed, thus 
not very different from the ancient Germanic peoples, including the 
Goths).
