[gothic-l] Germanic Languages, List Spirit (was Dialects of German [Was EE Jews etc.])

Of course the _end_ of all this discussion *is* that Gothic is a different
language from Yiddish, German, Dutch, etc. :0 Someone should write a thesis
on that groundbreaking notion. Maybe call it West-Germanic vs.
East-Germanic. ;) I don't know. Just a suggestion...

But, what's this? who's counting Gothic words in posts? Now let's just
remember the spirit of the group, not the letter!  (That's *Gothic*-L btw).
Or else we'll end up legitimizing discussions on Disneyland and Nuclear War
because they were introduced by "Hails." ;)
