[gothic-l] Greutung and Evagre

In the description of the tribes of Scandinavia Jordanes mentions the
Evagre ("Then come the Mixi, Evagre, and Otingis. All these live like
wild animals in rocks hewn out like castles") Jordanes puts this
tribe close to todays Gothenburg (in western Sweden) which would put
them as closest neighbor to the "GautaGothi" tribe. Atempts to
connect this tribe name to a place name "Oergryte" located within
Gothenburg has been made. Are there any linguistic connection between
Evagre and Greutung ?
