Hej George.
Thanks for the info. This is very interesting, especially the
connection to Tanais (reminds me of Snorri's account of Tanakvisl).
I just wonder about these long-houses. Might it be possible to
follow the migrations of the Heruli West and then Procopius Heruli
to the North with using this building tradition!!
