Som sources of Visigothic tradition in Spain, which
extended from 711 to the 15th century possibly until the
19th century, is of course hard to explain away.
There are thousands of books and articles on the
subject even a bibliography on the net.

Underneath just a few sources:

Manuel Goméz-Moreno, Las primeras crónicas de la
Reconquista, Madrid 1932.

Enrique Florez, Espana Sagrada, Madrid 1782.

Rafael Ballester y Castell, Las fuentes narrativas de la
historia de Espana durante la Edad Media, Palma de
Mallorca, 1908.

B. Sanchéz Alonso, Historia de la historiografia espanola, Madrid
1941.

Rofdrigo Jiménez de Rada, Rerum in Hispanica gestarum libri IX.

Historia Silense, ed. Francisco Santos Coco, Madrid 1921.

E. Mayer, Historia de la institutiones sociales y politicas de Espana y
Portugal durante los siglos V a XIV, Madrid 1925.

Hispania Illustrata, ed. And. Schottus, 1608.

Isidorus Hispalensis, Opera Omnia, Romae 1797.

Fuero Juzgo en latin y castellano, ed. La Real Academia Espanola, Madrid 1815.

Lucas Tudensis, Chronicon Mundi is available in Stockholm's Royal Library
in a late 13th century edition (or early 14th century and of Aragon-Castilian

This bibliography could be extended.
