Hi Stephen !  I add the corresponding Dutch words:

>  slepan   -- slaffan  -- slapen    (sleep)
>  etum     -- azum     -- eten      (eat)
>  mikils   -- mihhil   -- machtig ? (mighty ?)
>  twai     -- zwei     -- twee      (two)
>  hairto   -- herza    -- hart      (heart)
>  drigkan  -- trikhan  -- drinken   (drink)

Apparently the change   slapen -> schlafen  occurred relatively
late.
