Good Day,

It has been published recently a book on Visigotic numismatics by the
Spanish Real Academia de Historia, where a golden coin of Rodericus
is shown. I assume they are quite sure it is not a fake as this is the
most prestigious History institution in Spain.
The piece has been coined in Egitania (present Idanha-a-Velha in Portugal)
and maybe has been used to finance the war in one or the last of his displacements
(towards Nazare, at the western coast, as the legend tells)
