Hails allaim!

I came back to this subject only because I found (in two sources)
that the first part of the name is attested in Gothic: wods or woths
(adjective) = mad, angry, enraged, furious, possessed. The stem of
this asjective was probably woda- (rather than wotha-), thus the
formation *Wodawakjands or better (as shown by Matthew) *Wodawakjis
or *Wodawakja is very plausible, since both roots involved in this
compound are attested in Gothic.
