[gothic-l] Flags

Hi all!

According to what I have heard, there excisted different flags even
2000 years ago. These should have been used by trading people on
their ships on the ocean around southern europe. Even though they
weren't used as nationalflags they were symbols for the nation they
came from.
I guess the kindoms of the goths and maybe also the vandals made som
trading, and perhaps used some kind of flag on their ships. Maybe not
at first but the visigothic kingdom lasted untill the arab invasion
so why couldn't they have got a flag?

Is any flag known that were used by any gothic kingdom, visi- or
ostrogothic? Maybe vandal?

Btw. what's the name in english for the visigothic Regnum Tolosanum?
