Koebler calls bru'k-s = Adj. (i/ja) which is apparently just his way 
of noting that -i- adjectives went mostly over to a ja- declension, 
as Wright notes §233.

FFT is rather unenlightening on bru'k-, with a short paragraph of 
verbal forms only. It would be interesting to compare the forms of 
various members of the same verb class as brukjan and their 
ablaut use in nouns and adjectives. This is similar to what I did 
when trying to come up with another word for Romans 3, 
"destruction, wreckage etc." from the verb brikan (IV) "break, 
quarrel, fight". I am toying with (ga)brek or (ga)brauhts, though 
(ga)breikei/ns might be safer...
