Markers of Gothicness (*Gutarbi?)

Well there were Gothic immigrant communities in Moesia Secunda -

According to Jordanes, Wulfila fled to the area of Nicopolis. iirc,  
Selena followed Wulfila in Nicopolis and Auxentius followed Wulfila  
in Durostorum. (and Durostorum may have been one of the main crossing- 
points in 376).

I think Auxentius was a Gothicized Roman. I'd kinda like to know  
whether many of the Roman provincials did 'Gothicize.' I'd really  
like to know whether these Gothic immigrants were a small minority,  
or a substantial part of the Moesian (and Scythian) provincial  
populations.
