Footnote: Einst von Wrede [Anm. 2], S. 96,  mit dem Hinweis abgelehnt, daß mahts ein i-Stamm sei, der schon bei Wulfila in der Komposition mahti- erfordert hätte. Es liegt indessen im 'e' der Fuge dieselbe romanische Senkung vor, welche –suentha aus *-suintha werden ließ. Das 'a' in der Fuge bei Prokop stellte sich offensichtlich in Analogie zu dem im Namen der Mutter Ἀμαλασοῦνθα und des Bruders Ἀταλάριχος anzutreffenden ein. Für die Belege Reichert [Anm. 8], 1, s. vv., 2, S. 16."

Forms like Maathesuenta and Maathesuenta with double a might indicate the h.

  Why not *jeraþûsundi? Hundahund means "hundreds' hundred", but also 
  can be interpreted as "dogs' hundred" :)

  Afar Xristu (acc.). Maybe gabauranamma (dat.), gabauranana (acc.) 
  should be added. But this is facultative.
