Hundreds of visigothic slate stones (whiteboards) in Western Castilla (Spain).

Thank you for the links. I´ve been reading them with great interest.
The reason why I thought it could be gothic it is because the stroke of the letters (el trazo de las letras) was similar to some gothic texts I´ve been reading. So now it is somehow easy to see that it was written in latin. 

>From the personal names that I´ve been reading I can get to the conclusion that even it is quite probably that as the visigoths were somehow latinized the names were also latinized. So some of them could still have germanic names but also some other although been ethnically visigothics were given latin names. 

I also don´t realize why for number III they put a "_" at the top of it. I thought it was just III. It makes you confuse. Do you know why is that?.

I´m seeing that you have given links to some of the parts of the books. Do you know if the complete book is downloadable from any source?. Also, do you know if there are any books related to the slate stones that explain the meaning of the latin phrases?. 

In the first slate stone there are some names like:

Ferbodus
Bonifatius
Perpius

Maybe one of this person is one of my ancestors since all my family comes from villages next to the area where this slate stone was found. I think there is some possibility that I´m right. Yes, it is a bit of fantasize but who knows..
