 It is obvious that Slavs did not play a central role in the European history, but it is the reason to neglect them completely, as some historiographies do.
 Some Slavs settled inside the Limes and became Roman influenced, other were intermingled with Germans with some influence too.
 I do not know, but there are some claims that Berlin was founded by the Slavs.
