Examples of "Gothic" names with monothongization of /ai/:

Gesila = *Gaisila, Ostrogoth mentioned in Cassiodorus
Gesimundus = *Gaisamunds, Ostrogoth mentioned in Jordanes
Gesalecus = *Gaisalaiks, Visigoth, mentioned in Cassiodorus

 versus:

Gaina = *Gaina, Goth mentioned in Zosimos

A further example of possible dialectal variation with regard to /ai/ is:

runic HAILAG, from the Pietroassa ring inscription, where clearly a diphthong [ai] is indicated, versus the digraph <ai> of Wulfilian Gothic, which most scholars now believe, with good reason, to have been a monothong, to wit, open [e], either long or short in duration (see Braune / Heidermanns 2004, notes 20-23).
