You will need to consult an etymological dictionary of Italian place-names, unless you are satisfied with a simple guess. Any university library should be able to help with this.

In Tuscany near Reggello there's an old parish church dedicated to St. Agatha whose toponym is Arfoli that is attested as founded by the Goths in ancient documents, originally of Arian cult. What do you think of the etimology? Maybe Ara fulls, full of eagles?
