Me:Yes, verse 8 is just the first clause of the sentence and the finite verb is "bidja" in verse 9. "Habands" translate the Greek present participle "exwn". However, I think you placed the nail pretty close to a mistake because I really shouldn't use a personal pronoun (ik) with the participle. After deleting "ik" it seems fine to me:

I agree with your suggestion about using instrumental dative. It would have been an elegant solution if the sense of the Greek text had permitted it. What is commanded is accusative in the Greek, similar to preserved 1 Tim 4:11: "Anabiud þata jah laisei."

Yes, I looked around to see what Greek "Διὸ" was usually translated into and it was "Ïnuh þis" in Gothic and a whole lot of conjunctions in English: "Therefore", "Wherefore", "That is why", "Accordingly", "For this reason" a s o. Since the translation is from Greek to Gothic directly, I think it is ok to paraphrase a little in the tooltip-text.
Thanks great for the help! Now, it feels less like fumbling in a dark room, though I am sure you could help me find an addidtional 2-7 mistakes in the rest of my translation. :) 
Btw, it would be nice to hear what you think about punctuation. Project Wulfila uses modern style but I went for something more similar to the Silverbible, except I used dubble-dots for question-mark and paragraph, to enhance readability. That is a bit anachronistic.
