Position in Spanish at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ 86011

Assistant Professor of Spanish, tenure-track position for fall 2001, to
teach
at all levels of an energetic and growing undergraduate Spanish program.
Ph.D., native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English,
demonstrated
record of classroom success, commitment to undergraduate teaching, and clear
evidence of dedication to scholarship. Candidates with expertise in one or
more of the following areas will be given preference:

•Spanish linguistics with an interest in pedagogy.
•Teaching Spanish to native-speaker and heritage students.
•Chicano and/or Mexican literature
•US-Mexico border Studies.
