Dear Colleagues,

It is with deep sorrow that I inform you that Ed Scebold passed away on
Sunday, September 16, 2001 after a brave and courageous battle.  I know
that your thoughts, like mine, are with Jamie during this difficult time.
 As soon as I have information regarding funeral arrangements and the
wishes of his family concerning memorials, I will be back in touch with
you.
