Hi, my name is Iza and I am a graduate student at Texas A&M
University-Kingsville. I am a student in the McNair Scholar's Program [aims
at encouraging minority students to enroll in graduate school and eventually
Ph.D. programs]. I am currently working on a research project that focuses
on ways of analyzing verbal Spanish proficiency.
I would greatly and sincerely appreciate it if you could give me any kind of
feedback. Do you know of any reliable Spanish proficiency examinations that
may be used to test "self-defined bilingual" individuals? I have researched
extensively and have discovered numerous tests on the Educational Testing
Service website. Have you heard about or used the following exams, or do
you know of others?
IDEA Oral Language Proficiency Test, Spanish; Pimsleur Spanish Proficiency
Tests; Spanish Proficiency Test (SPT); National Spanish Examination;
Ber-Sil Spanish Test, Revised Edition; Spanish Speaking Test (SST)
Your response would be tremendously appreciated. I look forward to hearing
from you soon.
Thank you,
Iza Nelly Montalvo
