Hello,

My name is Belen Lopez and I am contacting you as a member of this
listserv if you are involved in teaching Spanish to Native Speakers.

As part of my graduate studies at New Mexico State University in Las
Cruces, New Mexico, I became interested in materials available for SNS
teachers and students. An independent research project led me to develop
a survey aimed at gathering opinions on current text programs in this area.
I presented this project as a session at the 8th Annual Conference on
Teaching Spanish to Native Speakers last summer in Las Cruces, New
Mexico and received very positive feedback as to the need for this type
of survey. After some modifications, this survey is now being made available
on line. It is hoped that one of the outcomes of this survey is to help
improve the materials we have available to us.
