Kwong Kow Chinese School (KKCS) in Boston, MA.  
 
School Head sought for the new Kwong Kow Chinese School (KKCS) in 
Boston, MA.  Founded in 1916, KKCS provides quality out-of-school 
Chinese language and cultural education, academic support, and 
recreational programs for more than 700 children of low to moderate 
income families from kindergarten through 9th Grade. Ground breaking to 
build the school's first permanent building in the heart of Boston 
Chinatown is expected to take place in summer, 2006.  The current 
headmistress has deferred her retirement until the new school head is 
in place.
 
The ideal candidate for the new school head position will be a high 
energy, degreed educator who is bilingual in English and Chinese (both 
Cantonese and Mandarin preferred); he/she will be an experienced 
administrator with a public and private fund-raising track record.  The 
position will provide ample opportunity for the successful candidate to 
demonstrate his/her leadership and strategic thinking ability to forge 
and implement a strategic vision for the school in a highly dynamic 
environment. Competitive salary commensurate with experience, benefits 
are negotiable.
