Reminder: First Meeting of ACTFL Heritage Languages SIG

The National Heritage Language Resource Center at UCLA invites you to attend the first meeting of the ACTFL Heritage Language Special Interest Group (SIG). The meeting is intended to address the interests of the entire heritage language education community from K-16, including community schools.

At this first meeting we will elect officers and discuss the interests and needs of the SIG members so as to plan for ACTFL 2009. There will also be two formal presentations. Dr. Elvira Swender (ACTFL) will ask for participation in her NHLRC-funded  project on the OPI. David Lasserre and Jane Ross will introduce the French Heritage Language Program of the New York City Public Schools.
