Not straightforward (but I don't think all of the problems
mentioned by Alexis are necessarily straightforward), but
important [and a neglected area] would be, as Alice Faber
mentioned the other day, to investigate links between Africa and
Eurasia (say, Nostratic and Nilo-Saharan and/or Niger-Congo).
