Handy's Vocabulary of Miami
Charles N. Handy, 1856

Collected by Indian agent Charles N. Handy, this vocabulary of about 300
words draws from a questionnaire prepared by Henry Schoolcraft and was
subsequently published in his Indian Tribes (1851-1857). It was most likely
recorded at the Miami reservation in eastcentral Kansas along the Osage River.
