Please note that the four studentships mentioned in the note that Rob
circulated for Jonathan are halt-time positions in the Department of
Computer Science at King's College, London for either (i) systems support
or (ii) TA work in computer science courses. They carry an annual salary of
11,000 GB pounds and tuition fees for four years. The successful candidate
will register for PhD studies on a part-time basis. The studentships
are open to non-EU students, and students interested in any of the
four main research areas of the Department (Natural Language Processing,
Logic and Computation, Algorithms, and Software Design and Engineering)
are encouraged to apply. Jonathan and I are particularly interested
in applications from students wishing to pursue degrees in computational
linguistics and NLP. Successful applicants must have the skills required
to do either systems support or TA work in computer science courses.
Regards.
