Hi,
The possibility of treating `case marking' prepositions as markers, on par
with complementizers, is briefly mentione Pollard and Sag 1987 (p.65), and it is
developed for Catalan in Badia 1998 (a paper in the "Romance in HPSG" CSLI
volume edited by Balari and Dini).
