Dear Raul,
In the context of my PhD thesis, which I have submitted a few month
back, I have proposed to implement Stump's division between rules of
exponence and their combination into paradigms by means of type
hierarchies of forms (morphs) which are introduced by morphological
schemata and whose distributional and morphophonological properties are
further constrained by means of reference to these types.
So reifying segmentable morphs as types actually gives you a hook to
separate different dimensions of morphological knowledge.
So I should just get my act together and create a version I can send to
you.
Cheers,
Berthold
