linear precendence and obliqueness

Hi everyone,

 I'm looking for literature on the relation between linear precendence and
 obliqueness. I seem to rememer that someone said something about adjuncts
 having a tendency to follow complements and heads, because the former are
 more oblique than the latter.

 Can anyone of you help me?
