9th doctoral meeting in Linguistics-Paris

Call for papers

The Graduate School of Linguistics of University Denis Diderot Paris 7 is
organizing the 9th doctoral meeting in Linguistics, on October 17th-18th, 2005.
This meeting promotes exchange and communication among doctoral students of
different fields of interest in Linguistics. All topics are suitable for
presentation, no theme is imposed, and every level of analysis are suitable.
The meeting is composed of oral presentations (20 minutes of presentation and 10
minutes for questions) and posters presentations (5 minutes of oral presentation
first).
Official langages are English and French.

NB : A partial refond of transport and hostel cost is possible for the students
who don’t come from the Paris region.

--------------- CALENDAR ---------------
Abstracts should be posted before June 1st, 2005.
Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the authors the August 1st, 2005.
The meeting is October 17th-18th, 2005.

--------------- TENDER MODALITIES ---------------
Doctoral students have to post a one or two page summary to the organization
committee before June 1st, 2005. This summary shall present :
- the title of communication
- the fields of research (syntax, 
)
- the keywords
- some bibliographical references
Abstracts must be anonymous.
Texts should be in PDF or Postscript format and joined in an e-mail at
adl2005 at linguist.jussieu.fr. The page layout to be used is shown on the meeting
site.
Authors have to indicate in their mails the title of the communication, their
names, the field(s) of linguistics they are working in, and their choice of
presentation (oral presentation or poster).

Abstracts will be evaluated by a scientific team of senior researchers.

If you can’t e-mail your abstract, you can send it by mail. Please send three
