Or maybe you are looking for a system like the Trale system. If you want
to implement grammars with empty elements, relational constraints,
and/or cyclic structures, the only option is Trale.

You find a downloadable version that does not require a SICStus licence

A new version of Grammix (based on Knoppix 5.0) is on the way. It will
be released once I found out how to get the Chinese fonts displayed
under this version of Knoppix.
