In the context of the ParGram initiative, the following position is
available at the Institute for Natural Language Processing of the
University of Stuttgart.
1 position (full time or half time) for a computational linguist or
computer scientist with a background in unification-based grammar
development (LFG, HPSG, ...) and machine learning approaches to NLP, in
particular exponential models; good knowledge of German is mandatory,
interest in multilingual grammar development is a plus.
The researcher will work in close collaboration with the D2 project
(http://www.uni-stuttgart.de/linguistik/sfb732/data/projects/d2.pdf) of
the newly founded Collaborative Research Center
(Sonderforschungsbereich) 732 ''Incremental specification in context''
funded by the DFG. The salary for the position is based on the BATIIa
scale or the BATIIa/2 scale respectively. The position starts September
1 (or a date to be arranged) and lasts 3 years.
